Certified Canine Behavior Counselor and Dog Trainer
Rebecca grew up with lots of animals, including dogs, cats, smaller critters, birds, reptiles, and two thoroughbred horses which she trained and showed in jumping competitions. When she moved to Willow Glen in 1997 she and her husband owned three northern dogs, (two Siberian Huskies and a rescue Huskie/Elkhound mix). They were all wonderful and led good lives with camping, day trips to the beaches, mountains and local dog parks. On a volunteer basis she helped her neighbors with their pets, daycare and boarding.
After Rebecca’s dogs completed their fulfilled lives, she felt a huge void. That is when she started Willow Glen Paws. Caring for people’s beloved pets gives Rebecca joy and satisfaction – Rebecca cares for others’ pets as if they were her own.
Willow Glen Paws started out with pet sitting, dog walking and offering both day care and boarding in her Willow Glen home. Over the years it has evolved to primarily day care and boarding. Recently Rebecca has pursued extensive course work and certification in dog behavior and training.
I look forward to providing excellent customer service.
Willow Glen Paws has always been run by Rebecca herself, she does not hire others because she wants to personally assure all her clients that when they bring their dogs to her home they will get personal care and attention by Rebecca herself.
